Frequently
Asked Questions & Answers
Q: What facilities
and amenities are offered by National Golf Club?
A: The Club facilities and amenities include the only Jack
Nicklaus, Sr. signature golf course in the area. The 18-hole course
is complimented by golf practice facilities consisting of a driving
range and a putting green. The Swim and Tennis Center at National
boasts five championship Har-Tru tennis courts and a junior Olympic
sized swimming pool. Like the main clubhouse, it is artfully landscaped
and centrally located in the center of the community. The Swim and
Tennis Center has its own pro shop, locker rooms, and spacious lounge.
The other masterpiece of National is the 32,000 square foot clubhouse.
The facility was designed to meet the needs of the members, their
families and guests. The classic and traditional design of the clubhouse
features a formal dining area, grill room, men's and women's locker
rooms, a golf pro shop and outdoor function areas.
Q: What types
of memberships are offered?

For property owners: Principal, Junior Principal, and Social Memberships
are available. For the non-property owner: Invitational, Invitational
Corporate, Social and Invitational Junior Memberships are available.
Q. How many
memberships are available in the Club?
A: In order to assure continued enjoyment of the Club, the
maximum number of golf memberships in the Club is limited to 600
whereas approximately 425 of those members will be Moore County
residents. Although the maximum number of Social Memberships is
not initially limited, the Club may limit this number at any given
time.
Q: Will members
of my family be entitled to use my membership privileges?
A: Yes. A member's immediate family will be permitted to use the
Club facilities in accordance with the particular membership category
selected by the member. The immediate family members include: the
spouse of the member and their unmarried children under the age
of twenty-three living at home or attending school on a full-time
basis.
Q: Will my
guests be able to use the facilities of the Club?
A: Yes. Members will be entitled to have guests use the Club
facilities in accordance with the General Club Rules pertaining
to guests. The Club may limit the number of times a particular guest
may use the golf and tennis facilities of the Club during a particular
membership year. The member sponsoring the guest will be responsible
for the payment of the applicable guest fees and charges established
by the Club.
Q: Will my
spouse be entitled to my Membership upon my death?
A: Yes. Upon your death, your spouse or designated benificiary
may continue membership privileges without the payment of any additional
membership initiation fee. This does not, however, apply to the
Invitational Corporate Memberships since membership remains with
the corporation.
Q: How are
annual dues established and when are they paid?
A: Each year the Board of Directors of the Club will determine
the amount of dues, clubhouse food and beverage minimums (if any)
and other fees to be paid by each member of the Club for the next
membership year. All dues will be payable in advance on or before
the first day of each month during the membership year, unless otherwise
determined by the Club.
Q: How is
residency determined for dues paying purposes?
A: The Club currently has two dues classifications based
on your resident status. Your resident status will be determined
based on the member's closest domicile location to the Club owned
by the member. A Member's legal residence for tax and voting purposes
is not taken into consideration when determining residency.
